“Together We Will”
My name is Abe Hudson Jr., and I’m running for the Mississippi State Senate to represent District 11 (Coahoma, Desoto, Quitman, Tunica, and Tate Counties) because I believe our communities deserve bold, experienced, and compassionate leadership that delivers real results.
As a former State Representative, educator, and private consultant, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside families, small businesses, and local leaders across Northwest Mississippi. Today, I serve as a philanthropic leader, where I help support initiatives that strengthen public education, promote entrepreneurship, and uplift emerging leaders. This work has allowed me to see firsthand how powerful it can be when we invest directly in people and communities—and it’s that same energy and commitment I want to bring to the State Senate.
I’m running because I know we can do more to support our schools by ensuring teachers are paid fairly and every child—regardless of background—has access to early learning, special education, and mental health resources. I know we can modernize our infrastructure with reliable roads, broadband internet, and clean water systems, especially in our rural towns that have been overlooked for too long. And I believe we can grow our local economies through smart investments in agriculture, small business development, and workforce training that creates lasting opportunity close to home.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked to build trust, bridge divides, and get things done. District 11 has a proud past and a bright future. I’m ready to continue the work of helping it thrive—and I would be honored to serve as your next State Senator.
